Here is my team entry to the Cavern 24-7 film festival 2014.
We came 2nd and won loads of rad prizes!
I didn’t have much faith in this years video as I had been working on various other projects and time was tight! But with creative friends and some hard work, anything is possible and we came up with this! Cheers boys.
The event was a great event and we raised €15,000 for our chosen charities.

IT’S THE 2014 CAVERN 24-7 FILM FESTIVAL
Here’s a quick teaser I created to get the hype rolling for this years event.
A lot of hard work goes into organising this event and I’d like to thank everyone that helps and gets involved.
It’s that time of year again! Charge up that camera, fill up that trick bag, get writing scripts, draw up a story board and polish up those acting skills.
We’re super stoked to announce we have the date and venue confirmed!
The 13th March at the Palais Du Sport, Morzine.
Last year was such a good night, so much money was raised for the charities and everyone had a rad time!
But is year we are going bigger and better. With a larger capacity, more films, more music, more prize money and more fun we hope to make this the biggest event of your 2014.
This year again we will be raising money for the Morzine skatepark fund. We’ve got to raise €20,000 in the next 3 months to match the €140,000 Morzine are putting in
And we will also be supporting Leon Berard Centre for cancer research.
We will be releasing more information in the next week about how to enter, the rules and progress on the skatepark project so far.
Please share this so we can make the night the best it can possibly be.

Basel in Switzerland is an amazing place…
In the summer of 2011 the news that the beloved BLACKCROSSBOWL was to be destroyed came true and plans were soon put into place to find a new space to build.
After some intense dealings with permits and raising money the Basel crew, motivated as ever, started digging, laying iron and troweling concrete in the waste land around the port area of Basel.
Overall the construction took sixteen weeks and used about seventy cubic meters of concrete, 400 meters squared of concrete paradise.
“Looking back on the process it seems that designing a skatepark while building it, is the best way to make it original and have a lot of lines that work really well” Oli Bürgen
The name Port Land came from…
A. The project is located in the port of Basel.
B. It’s a tribute to Burnside, the first large scale DIY concrete park.
C. The use of Portland cement for concrete parks.

“The super 8 footage at the end of the video is from Plainpalais Geneva skatepark.
Have fun…” stew.
